Hallo!
Heute am letzten Tag des Jahres musste ich doch häufig an Vergangenes und Zukünftiges denken. 2010 war ein spannendes und unheimlich schönes Jahr (v.a. im Vergleich zu 2009 ;). Es begann mit einem chaotischen aber wundervollen Aufbruch nach
London, wo ich das erste halbe Jahr verbrachte. Diese Zeit hat mir so sehr geholfen, mich für einen Berufsweg zu entscheiden und klarer zu sehen. Ich habe liebe Freunde gefunden, tolle Leute kennengelernt, hab mich allein durch eine riesige Stadt gelebt und hab mich in sie verliebt! Als ich dann zurück kam, hab ich mich auch in 
Leipzig besser eingelebt, mich erneut oder überhaupt in diese tolle Jugendstil-Wohnung verliebt, die ich wohl schweren Herzens verlassen werde! Ein echtes Highlight war auch die Reise nach 
Kopenhagen mit T. Endlich hab ich auch angefangen die ganzen nachzuholenden Prüfungen abzuarbeiten. Genauso wird es wohl auch 2011 weitergehen (mit vielen, vielen Prüfungen). Nichtsdestotrotz seh ich langsam LIcht am Ende des Tunnels und freue mich, nächstes Jahr fertig zu werden!Ich hoffe, ihr startet mit Freude und Vorfreude ins neue Jahr. Letztens saßen wir am Dinnertisch und auf die Frage nach Vorsätzen oder Vorhaben im neuen Jahr, kamen wirklich NUR negative Aussagen – 'wird eh alles teuer' – 'noch mehr Schnee' – 'worauf soll ich mich denn freuen' (und das noch auf Sächsisch – furchtbar ;)!) Obwohl auch ich häufig als Pessimist durchs Leben laufe (meine Schwester ist stetig am Kämpfen), freu ich mich doch auf viele kleine & große Dinge (Tulpen, neues Dekorieren in der Wohnung, Diplomarbeit schreiben, Umzug in eine neue Stadt, ...) – also lasst uns optimistisch sein und bleiben! Am meisten hat mir in letzter Zeit das Bloggen mit und für euch Spaß gemacht. Deshalb freue ich mich ganz besonders auf viele neue Blogposts 2011 rund um Mode, DIY Tutorials, Stricken, Vintage Illustrationen und Städtetrips! Und hier noch einige meiner Favoriten 2010:

Hello everyone!
It is the last day of this year and I have been thinking a lot about the future and the past in these last hours. 2010 has been an amazing and exciting year. It started with a chaotic and wonderful travel to
London, where I stayed the first half of the year. It helped me so much to find the way I want to pursue job- and education-wise. I found the most amazing friends and fell in love with that city. Coming back to Germany I started to like my life in Leipzig better and better, I really adore my appartment by now (one of the few things I will really miss when leaving my study town) and finally started to work off all the remaining exams. One of the best things in the last months were my study colleagues I got to know better, especially my trip to Copenhagen with T. is a real keepsake! 2011 will just start in that way with many, many exams. Nevertheless I see the light at the end of the tunnel and cannot wait to start working next year!
I hope you all start with joy and excitement in this new year. When dining with some acquaintances the other day I was buffled by their pure negative statements towards the new year – 'everything will be more expensive' – 'even more snow' – 'what should we be excited for?'. Although I always have to force myself to be optimistic, lets try to be! I had the most amazing time with all of you in the last month and I am looking forward to blogging in 2011 with loads and lots of fashion, DIY tutorials, knitting, vintage illustrations and city trips!
