ψ L'idée de Samedi ψ

To translate Thomas Mann is actually almost daring but I want to try to catch at least the main facts of this little paragraph. It is from the book series "Thomas Mann - Essays - Volume 2 - For the new Germany 1919-1925":

"The visitors are gone, alone again in your room you sit and reflect. How you build relationships in your life, real relationships between you and spheres of reality. In your dawn/In former times you were apt to ascribe them an only intellectual and mystic existence. Life is implementation, realization in every sense, and just hereby fantastic {...}"

Diese Reihe mit Essays von Thomas Mann wären beinah in den unbarmherzigen Müll unserer Hochschule geflogen, weil ein Professor seine Bibliothek entrümpelt hat. Ich habe sie gerettet und lese seither gern das eine oder andere Essay dieses großen Mannes.
"Thomas Mann - Essays Band 2 - Für das neue Deutschland 1919-1925":

„Der Besuch ist fort, und wieder allein im Zimmer sitzt man und sinnt. Wie nach und nach das Leben Beziehungen herstellt, reale Beziehungen zwischen uns und Sphären der Wirklichkeit, denen man ehemals, in schwanker Frühzeit, nur ein geistiges und mythisches Dasein zuzuschreiben geneigt war. Leben ist Verwirklichung, Realisierung in jedem Sinn, und eben hierdurch phantastisch {...}“
