Breakfast Picks Easter Sunday

Happy Easter Sunday to each and every one of you! I hope you are enjoying the holidays with your beloved, sitting in the sun (my first sunburn of this year already happened ;), enjoying some classical music (my family and I went to see the opera "Rusalka" yesterday evening – quite recommendable) and eating one or another Easter egg. For all of you who still have to host a big Easter Brunch tomorrow I gathered some links around Events and Decoration, as well as some lovely Food Ressources. Einen schönen Ostersonntag euch allen! Ich hoffe, dass ihr die Feiertage mit euren Liebsten genießt, in der Sonne sitzt (meinen ersten Sonnenbrand hab ich mich schon geholt), vielleicht ein wenig klassische Musik genießt (wir waren gestern Abend in der Oper 'Rusalka' von Dvořák und es war sehr empfehlenswert!) und das eine oder andere Osterei esst. While searching for a good tutorial I also found the blog post from Knuckle Salad who put great effort in trying out and testing 6 different paper flower tutorials. Her test results you can find here | Ihr könnt euch sicher noch an die pinken Rosen meines Osterstraußes erinnern. Während ich also ein gutes Tutorial heraussuchte, fand ich den Post von Knuckle Salad, welche sechs unterschiedliche Tutorien ausprobiert hat. Ihren Erfahrungsbericht findet ihr hier.

Living at Home Mai 2011

You'll never really know why you love a magazine and buy it EVERY time it comes out, although it regularly disappoints you. For a very long time this was the case with Living at Home. I stick with this routine, because this time I bought the May issue and was not only pleasantly surprised but loved almost EVERY page and article! Could be associated with a change of chief editor to Benntina Billerbeck last month. I sure hope that my favourite German living magazine returns to its old standards! | Manchmal kann man nicht erklären, warum man ein Magazin liebt und es JEDES Mal wieder kauft, obwohl es regelmäßig enttäuscht. Für eine sehr lange Zeit war dies der Fall mit der Living at Home. Und trotzdem hat sich meine Treue ausbezahlt, denn letzte Woche hab ich mir die neue Maiausgabe gekauft und war nicht nur überrascht, sondern begeistert! Fast jeder Artikel und jede Fotostrecke gefiel mir wieder. KÖnnte mit dem Wechsel der Chefredakteurin im letzten Monat zu Bettina Billerbeck zusammenhängen. Ich hoffe auf jeden Fall, dass meine liebste deutsche Wohnzeitschrift wieder zu alten Höhen zurückkehrt ;)!
