⚇ Propeller Gift Box ⚇ 13.12.2010 ⚇

Christmas is now really getting close and with such lovely stores as KaDeWe in Berlin (see pictures of the shop windows), it is no wonder, that more and more presents are hiding in dark corners of our houses. Now packaging is missing, isn't it? A few weeks ago I found a really cute packaging idea on PINTEREST (how I love that site!!), which I 'recrafted' today and  simultaneously wrote a little tutorial for you. My propeller box is made quite intricately out of grey boards and metallic cardstock. You may use the propeller idea for any bought boxes but I included the whole making of the box into the tutorial (Download here). Since those boxes are everday-work for me since London I may have missed explaining some steps – so feel free to write to me with any question and I will gladly answer them!

Angesichts des näherrückenden Weihnachtsfestes sind die Geschäft überfüllt und der Geschenkevorrat zu Haus füllt sich vielleicht schon langsam an. Angesichts der Überfülle an wundervollen Gaben im KaDeWe (siehe Bilder), ist das ja auch kein Wunder ;). Da fehlt jetzt natürlich die Verpackung. Vor einigen Wochen habe ich auf PINTEREST (ach, wie ich diese Seite liebe) eine ganz niedliche Verzierung für Boxen gesehen, die ich heute mal nachge'bastelt' habe und euch gleich ein Tutorial geschrieben habe. Die Propellerbox ist bei mir ziemlich aufwendig aus Graupappe zusammengebaut, mit goldenem Kartondeckel und Kopenhagener Papier beklebt. Natürlich könnt ihr den Propeller auf jede gekaufte kleine Box kleben. Im Tutorial (Download hier) findet ihr trotzdem die ganze Herstellung beschrieben. Da für mich die Herstellung solcher Box irgendwie ganz klar ist nach dem Studium in London, hab ich vielleicht einige Schritte ausgelassen, die wichtig wären. Falls ihr irgendwelche Probleme habt, einfach schreiben! Ich helf euch gern weiter!
