the third day of work and I really like being here and see how our office starts. Until now we still work with our own notebooks without a printer - but at least with internet ;-) and telefon. It is hilarious how we can be thrilled about such little things as a new load of office material and the final arrival of a ruler!!!
At first I thought I wouldn't like the area of the office, but I actually really appreciate it. It's about 20-25 minutes of a subway ride from my home station and then a 7-minute walk. In this time we are still discovering all the different streets and every day we head off in a new direction. Yesterday we found a very neat little biological-stuff-bistro-thing. I just love these little private stores you can still find everywhere in Berlin!

Der dritte Arbeitstag ist vorbei und ich finde es wirklich spannend zu sehen, wie das Büro auf seinem Weg in die Zukunft startet. Zur Zeit sitzen wir noch immer mit privaten Notebooks und ohne Drucker da - aber wenigstens mit Zugang zu Außenwelt = Internet ;-) und Telefon! Es ist wirklich herrlich, wie wir über so kleine Dinge wie eine neue Fuhre Büromaterialien und der finalen Ankunft eines 40-cm-Lineals ganz glücklich werden und uns wie Schneeköniginnen freuen!
Als erstes dachte ich, dass ich die Gegend rund ums Büro gar nicht mögen würde, aber ich finde sie wirklich angenehm und schön. Von meiner U-Bahnstation ist es eine ca. 20-25-minütige Fahrt und dann noch einmal ca. 7 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Büro. Jeden Tag laufen wir in der Mittagspause in eine andere Richtung und gestern haben wir zum Beispiel dieses wunderbare kleine Bio-Bistro gefunden (sehr gemütlich innen drin mit Holzfußboden und großem Angebot!) Diese kleinen, noch privaten Geschäfte genieße ich sehr in Berlin.
