Prada (3) – Colour Blocking in Green & Blue

This Monday I had the first day back to school and lectures. What better reason to do a bit of green-and-blue colour blocking (also in honour of this month's colour choice ;)). The outfit is one of my mom's favourites since she LOVES sewing blazers. This one is out of a very lightweight cotton and supposed to be more a blouse than an actual blazer. Paired with a grass-green skirt without waistband and green shoes from United Nude.

However sometimes there's a bug in it. On Monday I first slammed myself against the little tables in my law lecture and ripped off one of the blue buttons of the blazer (blessedly the bottom one *hehe*). Of course I never found that one again! Furthermore: as if they were quality shoes from Italy! No way. Whilst running over Augustusplatz the strap of these green shoes just snapped out of its fastening! The rest of the day I provisionally held everything in place with golden safety pin before I came home and could rummage through glue guns and blue buttons ;) What a day.
Do you sometimes have such days or am I the only light-headed destroyer of clothes??

With this outfit I also attended a quite interesting event in the evning called "Le Klub Analog", one of eleven different panel discussions held in Leipzig about all the different sectors of creative economy. This month they talked about 'design'. Next time it will be about books, so if you are in Leipzig on 11th April, perhaps we'll see each other (here is more information).

Diesen Montag hatte ich zum ersten Mal wieder Vorlesungen in diesem Semester. Ein wunderbarer Grund für ein wenig Colour Blocking in Blau und Grün (auch zu Ehren der Farbe GRÜN in diesem Monat). Das Outfit ist ein Favorit von meiner Mutter, da sie sowieso Blazer liebt und dieser ist aus einem sehr leichten und angenehmen blauen Baumwollstoff. Auch soll er mehr wie eine Bluse getragen werden. Hier gepaart mit einem Neu4bauer-Rock ohne Bund und grasgrünen Plasteschuhen von United Nude.

Und doch ist manchmal einfach der Wurm drin. Als erstes bin ich (typisch für mich) in der Rechtsvorlesung an meinem Tischchen entlanggeschrammt und hab mir einen Knopf abgerissen, der natürlich an diesem Tag unauffindbar blieb. Und von wegen Qualitätsschuhen aus Italien! Den Augustusplatz entlanghetzend riss natürlich das Band aus der Verankerung! Den Rest des Tages hielt ich beide Baustellen pragmatisch mit güldenen Sicherheitsnadeln in brauchbaren Zustand, bis ich zu Hause mit Leim und neuen Knöpfen alles wieder reparieren konnte ;) – was für ein Tag! Gehts euch auch manchmal so oder bin nur ich so ein 'Baschel' (sächsisch für Pechvogel/Luftikus)?

Am Abend gings dann (ebenso grasgrün und blau) zu einer ganz interessanten Veranstaltung namens "Le Klub Analog" - eine von elf Diskussionen vom Verein "Kreatives Leipzig" organisiert. In diesem Monat drehte sich die Diskussion rund um die Designwirtschaft. Nächstes Mal gehts um Bücher – wer also am 11. April in Leipzig weilt, kommt hoffentlich vorbei (hier gibts mehr Infos).
