4th December: Outfit inspirations

In the next days I will try to think up a few inspiring outfits for Christmas. It's not only handy with the holidays coming up but a very nice eMail from Giulia (Italian/German girl) arrived in my in-box the other day, asking for such inspirational input. However I guess a lot of you still have a christmas party or a family gathering coming up. The special requirements are:

• classy not trashy
• wearing flats
  
• perfect for christmas

I will start my little post series with the topic "Colours for Christmas". Not only the silhouette and shape of a dress or a skirt will make it something special, but colours are also very important. Today we'll talk about RED.

In den nächsten Tagen möchte ich euch gern ein paar Inspirationen für Weihnachts-Outfits posten. Das ist nicht nur ausnehmend nützlich mit den bevorstehenden Feiertagen, sondern hat seine Initialzündung in einer ganz netten eMail von Giulia, die mich vor einigen Tagen erreichte. Sie fragte mich nach Inspirationen für ein Outfit. Mit all den Weihnachtsfeiern und Familienzusammenkünften, die auf uns in den nächsten Tagen und Wochen warten, dachte ich, dass es für alle interessant sein könnte. Die speziellen Anforderungen sind:

• classy statt trashy
• mit flachen Schuhen tragbar
• weihnachtstauglich

Heute beginne ich die Serie mit dem Thema "Farben". Nicht nur die Form und Silhouette machen ein Outfit aus, sondern auch die farbliche Gestaltung eines Outfits. Heute beginnen wir mit einigen Links und Gedanken zum ROT.
