... hey! Just a quick note that we savely arrived. We already had 2 days of family gatherings, we went to the lake with my best friend Sam and her fiancé and her family, we had a bridesmaid-dress-fitting, picked out the cupcakes' icing flavours, I bought a purse and we talked that much I have a dry mouth already :-).It is good picking up conversations just as if you left yesterday although it has been 2 years since I last saw all of them. Well, I am very excited for the wedding on Saturday and all the things around that.
We already had a day in the mall as well and yesterday just the two of us went to go sightseeing Downtown: Legislative Building, Main Street, The Forks, ... then another Bridesmaid-dress-fitting and we even got around to meeting two old High School Friends of mine. Today will be full of wedding preparations (rehearsal, dinner, ...). Have a wonderful day! Yours, Theresa & Toni
... hey! Nur eine kleine Nachricht, dass wir sicher angekommen sind. Wir hatten bereits zwei Familientreffen (das nächste steht gerade an), sind zum See (Lake of the Woods) über Nacht gefahren (mit Sam, ihrem Verlobten und ihrer Familie), das Brautjungfernkleid wurde anprobiert, wir haben die Toppings für die Muffins ausgesucht, hab eine Tasche gekkauft und soviel geredet, dass ich bereits einen trockenen Mund habe ;-).
Es ist wirklich schön, dass sich viele Beziehungen anfühlen, als hätte man sich jeden Tag gesehen, obwohl ich das letzte Mal vor zwei Jahren hier war. Okay, ich freue mich enorm auf Samstag (Hochzeit von Sam und Joe) und die ganzen Dinge, die drumherum passieren.
Ihr merkt: meine deutsche Grammatik ist furchtbar, weil wir nur Englisch reden ;-) Selbst Toni fängt manchmal an: "You know, Resi, I think we should go upstairs" and I am like "Okay, ich versteh dich auch auf Deutsch ;-))".
Nach einem Tag in der Mall haben wir gestern eine kleine Entdeckungstour durch Downtown unternommen: Legislative Building (Regierungsgebäude), Main Street, The Forks ... dann musste ich das Brautjungfernkleid noch einmal anprobieren und wir haben es sogar geschafft, noch zwei High-School-Freunde zu treffen.
Heute wird der ganze Tag voll mit Hochzeitsvorbereitungen usw. sein (Probe in der Kirche, Dinner ...). Habt noch einen schönen Tag! Eure Thea & Toni
