Das wunderbare Bokeh-Nachtbild ist von  Sinem Degirmen auf Flickr!

I am pretty beaten from this whole weekend in Berlin! It started off with a crazy day of dropping off and getting things for Blogshop Workshop, continued with a really important interview on Thursday (no feedback til November!!) and went on to two days of Blogshop with Bri and Angela from L.A. It was fun but I must admit I am happy to have a few weeks of quiet dissertation work ahead of me. What bothers me: I have to take the TOEFL test in the next weeks and I am not sure how to prepare for it – any suggestions??

Wallpapers

  1. I've seen this shot on another blog this week and loved the wallpaper. Now I've found out that BARTSCH Paris does a lot of different cute wallpapers (check out the clouds) | Gesehen auf irgendeinem Blog diese Woche und dann herausgefunden, dass BARTSCH Paris auch noch andere tolle Tapeten macht!
  2. You probably know this site because their collection of wallpapers is just the best for using in design and layout, but I had to include 5qm anyway ;)!
  3. Artsy paper from JUJU Papers | Sehr künstlerische Bilder von JUJU Papers

Spaces

  1. "Relaxed and chic, faded and fabulous." - the words Jo described this flat on the famous desire-to-inspire blog. It was styled by the design duo of Gardener & Marks and is (in my opinion) simply amazing. I would right now move in there, especially in fall season!
  2. Some of the images popped up here and there from the lovely office of WhoWhatWear, featured on The Coveteur. Don't you just love the usage of this tiny space while it looks huge at the same time. Very elegant
  3. A family home in Norway which was featured in the Fall Issue of IKEA Family Live (yes, the one where my home was featured too ;). I love it!

Three SISTER Suggestions for DIY Fashion

As you might have noticed before: I do love fashion and especially the big brands and labels. However I could never ever afford them – thus my mom and I have to keep looking at the pictures and figure out a way to make the looks! Today I want to show you three looks which we are considering creating tutorials for with our SISTER Magazine (first issue in February). What would you like to see or learn?

  1. Christian Dior Fashion Show with beautiful beadery. | Tolle Platt-Perlen-Stickerei bei Christian Dior
  2. Prada Plissee Skirts | Prada Plissee-Röcke
  3. my favourite show (I think ;): Burberry Prorsum with the lovely belts with a handmade feel to them!

Also mich würde die Plattstickerei interessieren.

Tolle DIY Ideen. Die Pullis sind auch toll.

I found your blog while reading your apartment tour on IKEA Family Live. Your apartment is beautiful and your blog just as pretty! I subscribed to it immediately.
