GLITTERing things: Pinterest and many many inspirations!

I want to tell you about my most recent discoveries in the internet. It is a 'social bookmarking service' called Pinterest. It combines several look and feels of StumbleUpon, imgfave etc., however it very quickly became my favourite. You simply click the 'Pin it' button in your browser whenever you come across an image you would like to save for later. Then you can choose your 'pinboard' you want to save into, you have to add a little description and can add tags. I adore the layout of the pages (with a fluid grid system – wonderful) and I have only found really gorgeous fellow pinboards of other Pinterest-users! Thus, I will incorporating that service into my posts, whenever there is a theme post, I will also give you the permalink into my pinterest board for inspiration! I look forwarding to adding you as friends, feel invited to follow me for sure!

Since a "Vote that look of the day"-poll at style.com I have been thinking a lot about glitter and shiny clothes ;-). With November finally turning into ugly rain, it is a good thought to raise your spirits! Thus, today's post is about all glittery things such as skirts, shoes, lights and necklaces ;-).
BTW: Ralph Lauren's wonderful outfit with a chequed skirt is my favourite and we got wonderful pastell chequered fabric last week at a fabric shop in Meißen. I am hoping for Christmas … !!

Last but not least, I also tried out a few Photoshop tutorials which led to today's header with 'shiny glowing effects' (can be found here: Create an Extruded Glossy 3D Text Effect). I always sit in lectures and hope to learn new things for Adobe CS, however you often learn the most by following tutorials and trying it out! So whenever I have time I now want to make such things and use them for the blog (double effect ;))

Have a good evening. I am going to go to my cheesy book now! Yours, Theresa

Habt also einen glitzernden Abend! Eure Thea
